Aquele relatório semanal yo 5/23/2016

Ola meus amigos e família!!!!!!!!
WANTED TO START OFF THANKING YOU GUYS ALL SO MUCH FOR THE BIRTHDAY WISHES!!!!!!!!!! YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!!!! I FELT THE LOVEEEE FOR SURE!
And sorry that i didn't throw out one of dem weekly updates last week!

We have been doing super good here in MACEDONIA SIÃO!
Its been pretty calm here, due to a few difficulties of my friend Elder Travassos we have had to keep it a little more mellow. We have been able to work normal, but Sister Del Guerso just told us to take it a little easier. Hes excited to be fully charged and ready to go to be able to PREACH DAT GOSPEL!!!

We have been super blessed by the Lord with an awesome investigator that i wanted to talk about real quick,.. Her name is Sandra, a couple weeks ago we were looking for someone that we did a contact with on the street a little while back named Alexandra who was super receptive and we wanted to visit her for the first time. We went to the road were she lives, and found the address that she gave us. We called for Alexandra and out came a woman that we didn't recognize. A small, skinny woman who barely could speak due to asthma. We told her we were looking for Alexandra and she explained that Alexendra didn't live there. She told us her name was Sandra and we asked her if we could share a message with her, and she said "of course! come on in!" We ended up discovering that this woman is a widow who lives all alone and was feeling very lonely and looking to find a purpose in her life, looking to find the right path for her. We testified of the savior, gods plan for us, and that the gospel of Jesus Christ was restored through the prophet Joseph Smith. At the end of the lesson, she told us that she had never felt anything like what she felt when we shared that message with her. She said that it all just made such sense and felt so good about what we were telling her. We testified of the holy ghost and invited her to be baptized, she accepted and became so happy. She went to church and absolutely loved it, and constantly expresses the change in her life that she is feeling. I feel so blessed to teach such prepared people by the Lord. I know that on that day, We knocked on the "wrong door" to find Irmã Sandra. I know that the lord prepares specific people for his missionaries to find. I am so grateful, and truly just love this work. I bear my testimony that this is His work, and His church on the earth. I love you guys all so much and hope you have an awesome week!

Elder Barton
Therefore, follow me, and listen to the counsel which I shall give unto you.
Behold, and lo, I have much people in this place, in the regions round about; and an effectual door shall be opened in the regions round about in this eastern land.
Therefore, I, the Lord, have suffered you to come unto this place; for thus it was expedient in me for the salvation of souls.
 Therefore, verily I say unto you, lift up your voices unto this people; speak the thoughts that I shall put into your hearts, and you shall not be confounded before men;
For it shall be given you in the very hour, yea, in the very moment, what ye shall say.
Safe to say, Elder Barton is having some GREAT days!

OLLAAAAAAA MEUS QUERIDOS! BOM DIA VINDO DE SÃO PAULO!

This week was just an AWESOME WEEK!

First things first (im the realist) haha just kidding! IT WAS AWESOME TALKING TO THE BEST FAMILY IN THE WORLDDDDDD IT COMPLETLEY MADE MY DAY AND MADE ME FEEL EVEN MORE GRATEFUL FOR YOU GUYS AND ALL THAT YOU DO!!!!!!! SHOUT OUT TO THE MOMMA B ALSO FOR BEING THE BEST MOM EVER!

Yesterday was such an incredible day and the skype was just enough to completley top it off!! Daniel and Suzana were baptized yesterday and it was such an incredible experience. Truly, one of the most spiritual experiences I think I have had on my mission! This family is the most humble, receptive to the spirit, and grateful family I have ever met. They are incredible. Despite all of the problems and difficulties they have, they are so happy. Yesterday, we were sitting in the baptismal service, all dressed up after we had taken pics and everything (i was gonna baptize Suzana and Elder Dos Santos and Elder Travassos were gonna baptize daniel because of his situation of being disabled) we were all ready to go after hearing the message and almost about to head to the font when all the sudden, bishop tapped on my shoulder and he was with Rony (Daniel & Suzana's Brother) and said "Elder Barton, Rony is worthy to baptize his brother & sister, and would like to. Can we make that happen?" I got so excited, and said "Yes!!!! Lets go!!" hahaha we sprinted to grab a jumpsuit and ran to the bathroom to change. He ended up baptizing his sister and his brother with Elder Dos Santos helping him out to baptize Daniel in the font. Daniel went first, and then I grabbed Daniel and stood on the stairs of the baptismal font with Daniel and we watched Suzana get baptized by her big brother Rony. It was so incredible. After, Rony just gave her the biggest hug in the font and wispered in her ear that he loved her. It was such an incredible moment. The whole room just radiated with the spirit and pure joy.

There was nothing more special to see this family come back to church and see the others be baptized. It made me so grateful for what I have. Daniel doesnt have arms or legs, and could complain about soo many things but he is the happiest person on the earth. We need to all be more like Daniel. I love this kid, and love his family. I am so glad that it all went the way it did, couldnt have been better. This family was truly such a tender mercy of the Lord, and I am so grateful for the spirit and how he teaches through His missionaries.

Could not be more grateful for my misison, for my family, and for these incredible i am blessed to be serving.

"If I only think of my own performance, my sadness deepens. But when I think that the Lord promised that His power would go with me, I begin to look for evidence of what He has done in the lives of the people whom I am to serve. I pray to see with spiritual eyes, the effects of His power."  -Henry B. Eyering

Love you all so much!

WEEKLY REPORT 5/2/2016

Whaaaatssss up everyone!

I ended up staying here in beloved JARDIM MACEDONIAAAAA and recieved ANOTHER BELOVED SON!!!!

Haha thats right, ANOTHER! I am now in trio with my main man Elder Dos Santos and Elder TRAVASSOS! One happy father, and two brothers seeking miracles and our destiny in the streets of Macedonia!

Haha, I almost had a heart attack when I found out that I would have to train two elders at once but my dad ended up sending me an awesome email in the time of need about the importance of faith and doing things beyond what we know how to do  and beyond our understanding! I prayed a lot and just tried to understand how I would do this. I also talked to President DG a little bit and asked some advice. He gave me some great advice and just told me to use Elder Dos Santos to my benefit and use him to help train Elder Travassos also! That's what I tried to do this week and it worked out super well. I know the Lord only gives us things that we can handle (even if we think we can't) And it was a super rewarding week when I had that mentality!  We continue having awesome experiences with Daniel, Suzana, Rony, Antonio Ivonete and Sandra. Everyone besides Ivonete and Sandra are super super firm and excited that they are coming back to church and that Daniel and Susana will be baptized!! It has been such a miracle to work with them and feel their sweet spirit! I love these people!
It was also way cool yesterday Erika (who was baptized recently) bore her testimony at sacrament meeting and it was super cool to see her testify how the gospel changed her life! I am so grateful for the gospel and how it changes and blesses our lives!
